About Think Pink Europe
Think Pink Europe is a European platform and umbrella organisation uniting breast cancer organisations from across Europe with the shared mission of improving prevention, early detection, treatment, support, and quality of life for people affected by breast cancer.
By connecting national organisations, healthcare stakeholders, advocates, and communities, Think Pink Europe creates a strong collaborative network focused on reducing inequalities in breast cancer care across Europe and improving access to information, support, education, and innovation.
The organisation coordinates international awareness initiatives and supports projects that create both practical and emotional impact for patients and their families. One of its best-known initiatives is Race for the Cure®, which mobilises communities across Europe through awareness and fundraising events supporting local breast cancer organisations and patient-focused programmes.
Another meaningful initiative is the Pink Bag Project, designed to support people newly diagnosed with cancer during one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. The pink bags contain carefully selected information and practical items that help patients better understand their diagnosis, navigate available support systems, and feel less alone during the first stages of treatment. The project is coordinated on a European level while allowing local adaptation to healthcare systems, languages, and cultural contexts across different countries.
Think Pink Europe also promotes the sharing of knowledge, best practices, education, advocacy, and innovation between member organisations, helping strengthen local impact while building a more connected European support network.
